  1. I have been going to VCA Bellevue Veterinary Hospital for 5+ years and mainly because they were so convenient to my home. Several months ago my 13 year old cat was diagnosed with renal disease and he was declining quickly. I had just been laid-off from my job and was faced with the high cost a cat needing diagnosis and treatment requires and was very worried about taking him to VCA and the cost I would incur. Last fall VCA Bellevue changed management with new vets and new clinic director. Dr. Molly Noonan, vet director and Dr. Julie Janiak, took over the clinic with Heather Patterson as the business manager. I took him in not knowing about the change in management and expected to be treated as I had in the years past with a brisk factual manner and a daunting bill. I met the new vet (Dr. Noonan) and explained my situation. She and her staff went WAY above and beyond what any vet I have previously gone to has done. They were marvelous in their handling and treatment of my kitty, judicious in their testing, talking with me first about a recommended test, before incurring the cost, and allowing me to work out a payment plan. As if that wasn’t enough to endear me to them – they called me in the following days to check on him, they have been enormously sympathetic to me in my reluctance to hydrate him by allowing me to bring him in to be hydrated and weighed. Dr. Janiak or Dr. Noonan frequently make a point to check with me on how he is doing. The vet techs and other staff have been friendly, professional and very accommodating. In fact one did a marvelous job of cat sitting for me when I had to go out of town. I am so glad the clinic had a change in vet and management and I feel so lucky to have such an outstanding vet so near to my home.
